Quite a lot happened as we were preparing to welcome our summer colleagues, hence the lack of updates, I will explain all in my next post.
Before i do post on the start of the summer season, i thought i would share with you a few highlights from the winter with some stunning pictures that were taken by our winter team members while out and about around base and further afield on winter trips. These pictures were put onto the drive for all to enjoy and entered into our winter photo competition, the only stipulation being they had to have been taken during the winter. the winning picture was to be framed and hung for all to enjoy.
Enjoy these pictures, I hope it will make up for the lack of not posting anything for a while.

These pictures give an insight into the sort of activities and changing light that we encountered through our winter. Although we did have 24 hour darkness for a while, the light we did get most of the time was pretty spectacular and I think the colours were definitely winter highlights.
Incredible photos! Looks like you guys had such an incredible winter...all I can think about is how to get back!!!
