We all then went outside for our annual Christmas photo, before going into dinner.
The evening meal was a great success thanks to Lewis and Rob who were the chefs on duty, I had the night off and was able to sit and enjoy a greek meal. We started with Falafel accompanied by sliced red onion mixed with Feta cheese olives and the last of the fresh tomatoes, Hummus and a beautiful light well seasoned Focaccia bread layered with feta cheese and mint, delicious drizzled with olive oil.
The main course was Moussaka served with a tomato rice. We finished the meal with Lewis's Greek Baklava with minted melon and a cheese board to pick at, a couple of glasses of red wine and everyone was happy.
It was then up to the bar for a couple of games of pool and a bit of socialising which finished the night off nicely.

It had been a good day and a successful evening, I had a cup of tea for the road and walked back to my pit room to get my head down for the night. As so often happens at that time of the day in Antarctica, the weather was stunning so i stopped on the verandah of Admirals House to take a couple of pictures of the evening sky and met Shoba, who obviously had the same idea.
